Blog 11: The Environment: Global Warming

what is global warming Global warming is when the earth heats up (the temperature rises).  It happens when greenhouse gases carbon dioxide, water vapor, nitrous oxide, and methane trap heat and light from the sun in the earth’s atmosphere, which increases the temperature.  This hurts many people, animals, and plants.  Many cannot take the change, so they die. what are the danger is the voc's let into the air when fuel is burned this chemical can cause cancers and it can also harm the plant and this chemical it also formed by burning energy, like gas, coal, and oil and by car, and it can cause acid rain which kills tree and damges building and statues. I think the global warming is very true because if you look at the planet now you can  see more natural disasters such as tornados, tidal waves, colder winters, very hot summers than they use to be, famine and drought where it use to be very rare, more wild fires so i would say that  global warming is very true.

Blog 12: The Environment: Keystone Pipeline

the keystone pipeline is a pipeline system to transpot synthetic crude oil and diluted bitument from the Athabasca oil sands in northeasttern alberta canada to refineries in llinois and oklahoma and further to U.S gulf coast. where is the located all state? The pipeline would travel through Montana, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma before reaching Texas. It would double the capacity of an existing pipeline that opened last year, carrying oil through North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Illinois. why do people support it? some people don' want to protect the keystone pipeline but some people support it and they say they going protect it to. why do people against it? people against keystone the pipeline because they say this job is will killed more people that work in the keystone pipeline. how could is help the U.S.A? it because The extension of the existing pipeline will create domestic jobs, raise local revenue, ensure a more consistent energy supply and improve America's energy independence from hostile nations. How could it possibly hurt the U.S.? because some peole say they need real jobs but not the keystone pipeline. What is President Obama's opinion? the president obama say something but  young interrupt he but they asking president but president obama sat he still don't no decision yet but a lots people concern about the keystone pipeline. I think this keystone pipelin is a good thing to use because is help all the country in the world, but is this keystone pipeline happen think is going have big problem around the world.
